Step 2: Come Up For Air (A Final Embryo Update)

Step 2: Come Up For Air (A Final Embryo Update)

It's fascinating how our minds are capable of processing such extreme changes in emotions within a short amount of time. Within one week, we experienced feelings of nervousness to excitement and relief, back to nervousness then to heartbreak and back to relief again. IN ONE WEEK. I don't know how I managed to get through it without heavy drugs but I did.

We received the update on our final embryo report this morning. Y'all, two more embryos caught up and we officially have FOUR frozen children. FOUR!

I can't being to express how excited we are. I mean, I would do cartwheels if my ovaries weren't still enlarged and the risk of ovarian torsion didn't exist.

A huge thank you to everyone who has prayed for us during this journey. I mean it.

The next step is to take a few months off so my body can rest and prepare for a transfer. There won't be many more updates until then so my blog will go back to random pictures of my dogs.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Now I am off to lose 300lbs that I gained during IVF.
